The Candidate:
We’re looking for an aspirational marketing or brand manager with experience of using a broad range of marketing and communications techniques to create and evaluate campaigns.
This role will focus on marketing implementation and will be part of the wider Communications team within the Council.
The successful candidate will report into the Head of Marketing and Brand and will have the ability to inspire and develop our marketing approach.
Key Responsibilities include:
Working with the Head of Marketing to shape the marketing plan, identifying opportunities to promote the Council and the borough
Development and delivery of transformational marketing campaigns in line with our Council Plan
Develop income generation strategies through the promotion of events and services
Working with communications and social media managers to ensure campaigns are integrated to achieve maximum impact
Helping to manage the reputation of the Council through focusing on proactive & reactive PR and media relations
The robust evaluation of all marketing activity and utilising learnings to shape future activity
Lead the implementation of the brand strategy and ensuring the brand identity is used at all touchpoints
Support the wider Communications and Marketing team goals and help raise the team’s profile within the organisation
