“Darren delivered Supercharged Social Media for my team in Wiltshire and it was a fantastic day. The session was really interactive and there was a real buzz in the room the whole day.

The team have taken Darren’s tips and advice and really put it into practice and it’s been great to see. Would thoroughly recommend bringing Darren in to really revitalise your team.”

Ceri Tocock, head of communications at Wiltshire Council

“If you’re looking for social media training or just general Comms awesomeness... look no further! Whether it’s specifically for a Comms Team or a wider audience, Darren truly is the best in the business! He tailors his sessions perfectly for his audience and keeps you engaged every single step of the way.

Everything he shares is relevant, super interesting and can be easily implemented without big budgets. I’ve been lucky to work with Darren on a number of occasions and couldn’t wait to bring him in when I joined a new authority.

Everyone was super impressed and we can’t wait to work with him again soon. Genuinely a nice guy, a real expert in his field and, dare I say, just inspiring to be around.”

Natalie Banks, senior communications officer, Blackburn with Darwen Council

“I've been privileged to have Darren mentor me for the last couple of years.

He is knowledgeable, passionate about communications and inspiring. He has invested so much time in me, encouraging me to get to where I am today as a head of comms.

When choosing a mentor I approached Darren because I wanted to learn from someone I truly admired in the profession - and Darren does. He goes above and beyond and our sessions are always filled with ideas and enthusiasm.

I'm always learning and growing and it's great to have that support from Darren.”

Nicky Speed, Head of Communications at Sefton Council

“Working with Darren has been a fantastic opportunity to review my career to date and help me decide where I want it to go next. Bringing his vast experience, knowledge, network of contacts and impeccable taste in coffee shops, Darren has given me the confidence to assert myself, my skills and experience.

Darren's skill as a mentor is to cast an objective eye over working practices and provide helpful advice alongside meaningful working examples. This all contributes to developing and improving weak areas, as well as celebrating current strengths.

I know that Darren's support has focused me on my career, and supported me as I enter an exciting new phase. I would recommend his mentoring sessions to anyone working in communications, you will find them invaluable.”

Lou Rudkin, Head of Communications at the Mental Health Institute

“I don't think I have ever been involved in commissioning training that has had so much positive feedback, including a colleague here at the Royal College of Physicians seeking me out to tell me in person how valuable they found Darren's supercharged social media training. His skill as a communicator makes Darren an engaging trainer, with a good eye for examples to illustrate his points and exercises to help ensure that we applied learnings to our own work.”

Mike Blakemore, Head of Media & Engagement, Royal College of Physicians

“We were lucky enough to have Darren supporting our away day in Nov 19. His ability to combine expert knowledge of communications practices; a detailed understanding of the issues other Comms teams are facing; and practical examples of excellent communications work that anyone can do was inspiring and thought provoking for all of us. Comms 2.0 have been an important part of our success in Tower Hamlets.”

Andreas Christophorou, Divisional Director of Communications and Marketing at London Borough of Tower Hamlets
