created by Darren Caveney back in 2011, comms2point0 has quickly become the go to online learning space for communicators.

“one of my absolute aims was to fly a flag for comms people everywhere.  connecting and nurturing, mentoring and encouraging, was created to support our community. i respect the community because I’m part of the community. and I understand the demands placed upon you, I feel your joy and pain.”

after 12 years as an award-winning director and head of communications, Darren launched Creative Communicators Ltd in 2015 - a specialist communications consultancy which has since supported over 100 organisations and in-house teams across the UK.

Darren delivered excellent social media training sessions for our elected members. His easy, relaxed manner made delivering training on a subject that didn’t come naturally to some people in the session seem easy.
He was a real hit with our councillors and, best of all, they came out of the session feeling positive, engaged and ready to take action.
If you want to get the most out of social media then a workshop with Darren will give excellent examples of best practice, backed up by the latest research, and all delivered in a relaxed, enjoyable way. Quite simply, the best in the industry.
— Caroline Taylor, senior comms officer, South Ribble Borough Council
I have been working with Darren periodically for around six months. Most recently, he has facilitated a session with 22 communications professionals from the two teams at Bournemouth and Poole councils
The experience Darren brought from having worked with so many other local authorities was invaluable. He was able to relate to their work, add value by sharing examples from other organisations and suggest ideas for alternative, better ways of doing things, that team members could discuss and adopt as their preferred way forward. Many left feeling energised and optimistic for the future, and that is very much down to Darren’s ability to get the best out of people, to help them see their worth & what they can bring, and so stimulate them to do the best they can.
I am excited about any further opportunities to work with Darren more in future.
— Georgia Turner, head of communication and marketing, Bournemouth Borough Council and Borough of Poole
Bringing in comms2Point0 to conduct a review of our social media channels was one of the best decisions we’ve made. We knew that the use and evaluation of our channels was sound but we were looking for some advice and guidance to take our social media to the next level. The review was thorough, quick and enabled the whole team to get involved. As result we were provided with some strong recommendations of how to develop our feeds and get the most from them. All of this and cake! What more could we ask for?
— Kirsty Tobin, Head of Communications at London Borough of Redbridge Council
Darren is one of the most dynamic comms leaders I know. He has been my mentor for the last couple of years because I wanted to learn from somebody who really inspires me - and Darren does. He goes above and beyond and as I result I have grown and developed in my own career. If you need and comms support or solutions I would highly recommend Darren.
